What are our Mum's saying about Mummy Matcher?

Where did the idea of Mummy Matcher come from?

My youngest daughter was born with some “special features” in November 2018 and by March 2019, I felt like my world had been turned upside down. I remember sitting in hospital, hours away from home, holding my sleeping babe and trawling the internet for hours to try and find SOMEONE who just understood exactly how I was feeling. I couldn’t find that someone.

Sure there were Facebook Groups and online forums but there was no way I was spilling out my deepest, darkest fears for my baby to hundreds of strangers who had no idea about my situation, my life or who I was.

It got me thinking, there are so many situations in life that can leave us feeling overwhelmed and like no one could possibly understand what day to day life looks like unless they too have lived it. So here I am, 12 months later, launching Mummy Matcher in the hope that I can play a small role in reducing those feelings for other Mums.
